Why this work matters to me.

I chose functional safety because it sits where engineering discipline meets human consequence. A strong safety case is more than a collection of work products—it is a clear, shared argument that a system and the people behind it are ready to carry responsibility.

My career began close to the hardware: integration testing, test benches, automation, and product validation. That foundation taught me to ask whether an idea can survive contact with the real system. I carried that question into safety analysis, architecture, requirements, and project safety management.

Today, my responsibility extends beyond my own technical output. I guide safety execution across a North American portfolio, review critical work, align resources, coach engineers, and help teams surface risk early enough to act on it.

What motivates me now is multiplying sound engineering judgment: creating the clarity, accountability, and trust that allow capable people to do their best work together. That is the kind of technical leadership I am committed to growing.

Leadership is more credible when it understands the architecture, the assumptions, and the evidence. I remain hands-on with safety concepts, analyses, requirements, and verification strategy.
